Every summer CGLL selects 15 educators for a weeklong workshop on the US EPA research vessel Lake Guardian. This summer participants will work alongside scientists on Lake Huron, gaining hands-on experience doing real research. Throughout the week educators will also learn about Great Lakes curricular resources to use back in their classrooms. Watch this space for the application process to begin! Read blogs from past participants and check out the research vessel.
From the educators:
“It was a great experience that has completely renewed my passion for science!”
“The first-hand experience gives me credibility to be teaching the information.”
